The 2026 KMTA Conference will take place on Friday, September 18 and Saturday, September 19 at Wichita State University's Duerksen Fine Arts Center. 

KMTA is proud to feature Jerome Lowenthal 2026 guest artist and collegiate masterclass teacher, Dr. Julie Bees as pre-college masterclass teacher, and Dr. Beth Klingenstein as keynote speaker.

Parking

The KMTA State Conference takes place on Friday, Sept 18 and Saturday, Sept 19 in Duerksen Fine Arts Center and Wiedemann Hall on the Wichita State University Campus. Conference attendees may park in the lots in front of Duerksen Fine Arts Center. They will not be ticketed on Friday. On Saturday, parking is not restricted.  Here is a link to a campus map.
